2. Changes in Appetite
You should always take note of drastic changes in your eating pattern or appetite, even if you think it’s not worth remembering. If you are suddenly overeating when you haven’t before, or you suddenly find that you have no appetite, either can be a sign that there’s something wrong with your body.
One of the things that can cause changes in your appetite is hormonal changes: Yes, this is exactly why pregnant women are known for getting strange cravings at strange times while undergoing their pregnancy.
Changes in appetite, either eating more or eating less, or cravings you have never had before are clear signs that your body is trying to tell you something. Take note of this, and keep a diary of your meal cravings (or lack of cravings) with dates, times and what you ingested – this can be helpful to your nutritionist or doctor.
If you tick several signs on this list with appetite changes, then it could almost certainly be a hormonal imbalance: Have your hormone levels tested.
