2. A runny or stuffed-up nose
Many of the symptoms of bronchitis are similar to your ordinary cold or sinusitis. Some of the typical, telltale signs include a runny or blocked nose, sore throat, headache, and general tiredness.
These symptoms all indicate a respiratory infection. The nose, throat, and headache symptoms are typical of most colds, flu, and similar infections, but they’re also present in bronchitis and pneumonia.
Treatments that work to unclog or dry up the nose for the common cold sometimes work for bronchitis, too. Don’t confuse bronchitis with a common cold, though.
If you have the signature dry, hacking cough, it’s more likely that you’ve got bronchitis.
