5. Diarrhea or Constipation
Like many of the other symptoms of appendicitis, diarrhea, or constipation may not be severe and will likely occur after you have already experienced some type of abdominal pain.
If you have a case of mild diarrhea and there is a lot of mucus in your feces combined with pain in the lower right-hand side of your abdomen, you should consider seeing your doctor determine whether or not your appendix is the culprit of your pain and discomfort.
If it is your appendix that is causing these issues, chances are that you will have to have it removed.
