17. Add Apple Cider Vinegar to Your Diet
ACV has anti-pathogenic properties. This is because it has a lot of prebiotic inulin in it, which strengthens your immune system, sending out killer blood cells. Additionally, ACV helps balance your body’s pH levels, making it a less appealing host for bacteria.
So, when you have the flu you should mix in a couple of teaspoons to a cup of warm water. Add in a lemon wedge for vitamin C, raw organic honey, and a sprinkle of cinnamon powder, which is an antiseptic – all of which also help with the taste.
