5. Nausea
Nausea is a common symptom of many health problems. When the body and mind are feeling stressed, nausea can occur. Nausea is also a common symptom of food poisoning, a stomach virus, pregnancy, and other mild health problems. Some people experience extreme nausea right before suffering from a heart attack or struggling with congestive heart failure.
For other people, the nausea is mild and hard to notice. Since nausea is usually not a serious cause for concern, most people ignore it. They assume they ate something or just need to rest. Many people do not relate nausea to a heart attack. If you feel nauseous and have other symptoms of a heart attack or have congestive heart failure, you should seek medical attention immediately in case you are about to suffer a heart attack or have already had one.
Women are more likely to experience this symptom while suffering a heart attack than men.
