It’s true that a lot of people experience their symptoms differently, and a lot of people are going to experience the symptoms of a pinworm infection in different ways: But there are a few symptoms that are general and likely to appear in almost everyone with a pinworm infection apart from a select few people.
Itching is one of the most common signs of a pinworm infection and might be the one that almost everyone will experience. If you have an itch that won’t go away no matter what you do, see your doctor. Sometimes it could be due to a few other factors, but these are easy to treat (as is pinworm) once your doctor has been able to figure out what’s causing your health issues first.
Again, while this symptom is easy to spot in adults who can say what’s wrong, it might be a harder one to spot in children and you might have to look for other symptoms (such as a rash) at the same time to establish what the source of the discomfort could be: See a doctor ASAP.
