5. Spicy foods
Intake of spicy foods can also lead to gastritis. It causes inflammation and pain in the stomach lining and discomfort in the abdomen. Spicy foods can be a trigger to make symptoms worse.
Eating too much spicy and hot foods can cause infection which may lead to stomach disorders such as gastritis. Foods with lots of spices can irritate your stomach and discomfort you by the pain.
If you have gastritis you may have to eliminate black pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, hot sauce, etc. from your diet until your stomach comes back to normal.
When spices come in contact with the stomach it starts to inflame which causes bloating in the stomach and makes the pain worse. Instead, you can use fewer spices in your food which can help you recover from gastritis. High fiber foods can also help in curing gastritis.
