1. Testosterone

Fish oil contains vitamin D, which in fact is not a vitamin in the traditional sense (technically a vitamin is something that the body can’t synthesize on its own and needs to get from diet) but rather is a ‘prohormone’. This means that it regulates and stimulates the production of hormones throughout the body and among these is testosterone. Testosterone is a highly beneficial hormone for men in particular, as it helps to increase muscle mass, virility, and many other highly desirable traits.
