5. Tuna
Tuna is another great snack for those that want to pack on some muscle thanks to its status as a relatively lean source of protein. This can be used to rebuild and repair muscle, without adding lots of fat at the same time.
But the big benefit of tuna is the omega 3 fatty acid. This is a fat that can increase cell membrane permeability, by being incorporated into the cell walls.
This has a lot of beneficial effects, one of which is to allow those cells – including neurons (brain cells) – to communicate more readily.
