Post menstrual syndrome, or PMS, is a condition that affects countless women. In the days leading up to menstruation, hormone levels fluctuate significantly, which can lead to a number of undesirable effects. The effects of PMS can include irritability, fatigue, and anxiety. Cramping can also occur a few days prior to menstruation.

It has been found that taking a vitamin E supplement or upping the intake of vitamin E rich foods can actually help to reduce the severity of the symptoms that are associated with PMS. It can also decrease cramping and reduce the amount of blood lost during menstruation.
