11. Hydrocephalus
Hydrocephalus is another neurological disease that could lead to adult bedwetting among other similar symptoms. It’s also quite a fitting culprit seeing as it has the word hydro in its name. Of course, the hydro is the Greek word for water while cephalus is their word for head, i.e. water in the head. Rather than water, it’s actually cerebrospinal fluid (otherwise known as CSF) that builds up within the brain, but of course, you can’t really blame the Greeks for not knowing this as it’s far too technical for their era of medicine.
Seizures are one of the telltale features but there are other symptoms as well. Obviously, adult bedwetting is one of them otherwise the condition wouldn’t be featured on the list. Additionally, irritability, sleepiness, and vomiting are other symptoms that you might encounter if you’re suffering from hydrocephalus — so get yourself checked if you experience them.
