7. Decline in Heartburn
Heartburn is a condition generally caused by too much stomach acid that pushes up through the throat; the overproduction of acid is most commonly caused by something that you ate, which is why heartburn is such an extremely common condition after a large meal. If you have repeated issues with heartburn, you can usually track it down to your intestinal health and your diet.
Fasting can give you a chance to get your body clean and then see just what food it might be that’s causing your heartburn once you get back to eating again. As a general tip, stick to healthy and natural foods without additives, and drop the consumption of salts, sugars, and acidic foods in your diet after fasting to see what happens.
If the problem still persists, then you should make an appointment with your doctor to take a closer look at what’s going on inside your body to find the root cause of your heartburn.
