4. Lower Abdominal Pain
Many women experience pain in the lower abdominal area during their menstruation cycle. For this reason, experiencing lower abdominal pain is often dismissed. When it comes to chlamydia, both men and women may experience pain throughout their lower abdominal area. This may be in the form of cramping or it could just simply feel like a really upset stomach.
If the pain in the lower abdomen does not go away with over the counter treatments or other home remedies after a few days, it is a good idea to discuss the symptom with your primary care physician. Lower abdominal pain may accompany some of the other symptoms on this list and when it does it may be a sign of chlamydia or another type of infection. A doctor will be able to determine what is causing the abdominal pain and provide you with the proper treatment for your ailment.
