5. Eye Pain
You probably know by now that caffeine is able to help with the eyes, and that is true – but what happens when you are drinking too much caffeine? It will have all of the opposite effects of when you are consuming it for its health benefits. When you have consumed far too much caffeine than your system can handle – or you suddenly stop consuming it when you are very used to doing so regularly – then you will find that you experience headaches and muscle pains, it might even quickly switch to experiencing migraines and eye pain.
It’s a common symptom of withdrawing from something, and many times the only way to stop this symptom from occurring is to go to sleep and take the pressure off your eyes – sometimes a cold compress placed on the eyes might also help relieve the symptoms and get the blood vessels to contract again.
