5. Stop Dieting
You should definitely stop dieting. That doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be eating healthy. It simply means that you need to stop calling it a diet or thinking about like a diet. You see, a diet has been made to have negative connotations in our society. What a diet is supposed to be is simply a style of eating. You can have a high-fat diet, you can have a low-carb diet, and you can have an all cake and ice cream diet or whatever you like. A diet can mean any sort of eating plan whether it is healthy or unhealthy.
But since we have made the diet into something negative and restrictive, thinking about being on a diet or telling yourself that you are on a diet is actually destructive to your self-esteem and makes you feel as if you are missing out on something. Instead of thinking of the way that you are eating as a diet, think of it as a normal eating or nutritional plan.
