3. Chills and a Low-Grade Fever
Getting the chills combined with a low-grade fever can be a symptom of many different types of illnesses. However, if you are experiencing a fever and the chills accompanied by an extreme amount of pain in your lower abdomen, chances are you are experiencing appendicitis.
If you have simple stomach pain with a fever of about 100 degrees, it is likely nothing to worry about. However, if the pain in your abdomen is severe and you have a fever of over 103, it could be appendicitis and you need to seek medical attention.
