4. Nausea
One of the problems with diagnosing a gallbladder problem is that many people mistake the symptoms of gallstones and other gallbladder issues for heartburn, acid reflux, or an upset stomach. This can mean that a person will ignore the symptoms or if the symptoms are persistent and they go to the doctor, it can be difficult to diagnose.
If you are experiencing nausea or vomiting repeatedly and it occurs most of the time after you eat, this may be an indication of a problem with your gallbladder. Nausea is not as common of a symptom of gallstones is a pain in the abdomen.
However, if there is a significant amount of nausea accompanied by vomiting it could be problematic. If you are feeling sick to your stomach and also have some of the other symptoms on this list, it is important to see your doctor right away.
