7. Joint Pain
People who suffer from joint pain may not understand immediately that it is an early sign of parvovirus. Adults are more prone to developing joint pain from parvovirus that children. Usually, the most concentrated pain occurs in the joints of the hips, ankles, fingers, and knees. Parvovirus caused the joints in the body to become inflamed which can cause pain when a person moved.
Depending on the severity of the inflammation, it may be difficult or extremely painful to bend certain parts of the body. Over the counter pain, relievers can help to reduce joint pain from parvovirus, and some may also help to reduce swelling as well. Compression garments can be worn on the knees, wrist, and ankles to help manage joint pain caused by a parvovirus. There is no way to cure joint pain of parvovirus, but the symptom will usually subside on its own once the virus has run its course.
