5. Saunas and Hot Tubs
Sitting in a hot tub or sauna can have a relaxing effect. In fact, many people may think that this is a great way to relax and lower stress levels. Since stress is directly related to high blood pressure this may seem like a great idea.
However, the heat from a sauna or hot tub will cause your blood vessels to open up, similar to what happens when you go on a brisk walk. If you have high blood pressure this can be problematic and hot tubs and saunas should be avoided.
