4. Speaks in a monotone voice
Many people who have Asperger’s syndrome speak in a monotone, or flat voice. Their voices may lack variation or pitch, and they may speak flatly or loudly.
This may make someone who has Asperger’s syndrome sound almost robotic. You may find that it is difficult to continue listening to the person to speak as a result of this lack of inflection. Their speech may become boring.
This speaking style could further lead to difficulties for someone who is affected by this syndrome to develop or maintain relationships.
