Many people still prefer to keep several types of berries around in the fridge for mixing an assortment of berries into their smoothies and snacks: You can do this pretty inexpensively, and remember that you can often freeze berries in the freezer if you want to make them last longer – you can even use them to replace ice cubes in your favorite juice or cocktail.
