5. Enlarged Gallbladder
One thing your doctor may check for is an enlarged gallbladder. Thankfully this is something that would show up on an MRI or a CT scan. The same blockage that we saw in the bile duct That caused jaundice, also makes your gallbladder grow in size. this is because all that bile is building up overtime behind the duct and clogging it.
Unfortunately having enlarged gallbladder means that other symptoms will appear as well such as nausea, fever, loose stool, chills, vomiting, and even severe abdominal cramping similar to menstrual cramping. If you haven’t already gotten your gallbladder checked to see whether it is enlarged, but you suspect that you may have a tumor in your abdominal region, then it is best to check with your general practitioner to have an MRI or CT scan performed.
