5. Stress Fracture
A stress fracture is essentially a type of broken bone that is very easy to miss. We generally think of a broken bone as being something incredibly obvious – perhaps we imagine our leg hanging half off and being visibly broken in two.
But in reality, broken bone is often much less noticeable and might take the form of a simple hairline crack. In this case, you can actually go a long time without noticing it and only real experience a very slight discomfort when putting pressure on it or using it. Again, the best option here is to speak with your GP who might be able to suggest the cause.
