6. Lumps on the Testicles
Any lumps on the testicles are one of the first outward signs of testicular cancer, and certainly one of the most common symptoms that most people associate with getting it. This symptom is part of why self-examination of the testicles is considered so important – and without this essential examination at least a few times per week to assess any changes, testicular cancer could go undetected and spread.
If you notice any lumps on the testicles that you’re pretty sure shouldn’t be there or weren’t there before now, monitor the lump to spot any changes for a day or so and make an appointment with your doctor.
In many cases, a lump on the testicles will naturally go away, but there are also many other cases where they will either stay the same or change in size: These are the cases you should watch for as potential signs of testicular cancer.
