4. Sudden Pain While Exercising
Aside from the pain that you are currently experiencing, try to think back to the intense pain that you may have felt when you first injured your rotator cuff. It is possible to have tendonitis that affects the shoulder joint or even other types of low-level pain, typically if you tear your rotator cuff you are going to feel it happen.
When you tear your rotator cuff there are many muscle fibers that are torn. The damage will impair your movement and could cause a physical indentation in the area of the muscle. If you are exercising and suddenly have an intense amount of pain in your shoulder, there is a chance that you may have caused a tear in the rotator cuff. You may even go into shock when this happens.
Your body temperature may change, you may start to sweat, and possibly start trembling. Most often this occurs when doing a type of exercise that involves a lot of movement from the shoulders, such as throwing a ball or doing reverse pec flies.
