4. Loss of Strength
If you have a labrum tear, you might notice that you have a loss of strength in the arm that was affected. It is important to first determine the cause of this loss of strength.
You should consider the symptoms of a stroke, such as a drooping face, or the inability to say a tongue twister out loud. If you have difficulty with these tasks it could be a stroke and you need medical attention right away. If you do not have any of the symptoms of a stroke and experience loss of strength in your arm, it is likely a labrum tear.
You should not lift any heavy objects with the arm as this can cause more damage. You should find a ride to the nearest hospital and have your arm checked out. Driving with a torn labrum is not recommended, especially if you are experiencing a loss of strength.
