
3. Lower Range of Motion
If you have a labrum tear, there is a chance that you will notice that your range of motion is lowered. This is because your humerus and scapula will not be able to function the way that they are supposed to.
The clavicle does a lot of work and is a good bone, but it simply cannot do it all on its own. Any task that involves an overhead motion will be even more difficult if you have torn your labrum. Many people will simply try to go on with the injury and perform tasks that require them to have a full range of motion.
This is not a good idea as it can damage the labrum even more and can also ruin the strength of your bones. If your shoulder is not performing a certain task, it is likely because it is not able to do so. Make sure that you listen to your body and go to the doctor.
