4. The feeling of Swollen Fingers
Your fingers may feel swollen, and you might swear that they’re swollen, but they won’t look swollen.
This can be a very embarrassing and uncomfortable feeling. You look at their fingers, and they look fine. But they feel really swollen.
If you point out to your friends that they’re swollen, they may look at you like you’re crazy. A feeling of swollen fingers is not at all atypical in cases of advanced carpel tunnel syndrome. You may feel the urge to soak or bathe your hands in hot water.
This is normal. Despite the strange feeling of feeling and not seeing swolleness, it is a symptom of carpal tunnel syndrome that is not uncommon.
