3. Excessive Bleeding
Pain during your menstrual cycle isn’t the only thing that you should look for when looking out for the potential symptoms of endometriosis. Your menstrual cycle could be affected in many different ways, and it can be a different chance for every woman – but most women know what the base-line for normality is for their periods, and so they’ll know when something is out of the ordinary.
Endometriosis can manifest with excessive or heavy bleeding, and it can also lead to bleeding outside of the spectrum of your cycle – which is a definite cause for concern. You might also stop bleeding halfway through your cycle, or stop bleeding entirely.
Any drastic changes in your cycle such as this mean that you should get yourself to a doctor to have yourself examined for the condition so you can get back to health. It just takes a few tests to establish whether or not you might be suffering from endometriosis – and treatment options are available from there.
