5. Soreness or tenderness in your chest when you’re coughing
You might have a feeling of tenderness or soreness in your chest when you’re coughing.
That is one of the hallmark signs of bronchitis. It’s not uncommon to feel panicky or worried when you experience this symptom. Unexplained soreness or tenderness in your chest is scary.
If you haven’t been tackled in a football game or knocked over recently, you might think there’s something seriously wrong with you internally. Don’t worry, though, because it’s just bronchitis taking its course.
If the pain gets too severe, seek medical attention immediately.
