5. Discharge from the penis will occur when you have chlamydia.
The discharge may be a different color than what it is supposed to be. The discharge may occur every time you use the restroom. It may be constant as well. The discharge may happen anywhere, at any time. The discharge may have a foul smell to it.
Colognes may help mask the scent, but it is a good idea to not place colognes on the penis or even in front of the pants. Colognes can still get through the pants and irritate the penis. This may make you want to scratch, which then you will have to deal with redness, itchiness, and discharge.
When you seek treatment, all three symptoms will need to be addressed. Chlamydia will spread even without having intercourse. If you touch your penis with dirty hands, the bacterial infection will get worse and make it difficult to treat.
