2. Take a Cool Bath
Run some cool bath water in your tub and soak in it for a bit. The water should be cool, but not extremely cold. The water can help soothe the painful blisters associated with shingles. If your skin becomes too much to bear, run a bath, and relax.
After you get out of the bath make sure that you dry your skin completely. Once again, make sure that the water in the bath is not too cold as this can cause the skin to react and may cause the rash to hurt even more.
