3. Apples
Apples are another source of epicatechin, as well as a great source of fiber as long as you eat them with the skin on.
Best of all though, apples are high in vitamin C – which is a vitamin that is an antioxidant (meaning it fights cancer) and which can also boost your energy levels and greatly enhance your mood and even your ability to sleep by raising the amount of serotonin in your system.
Of course, vitamin C is also well known for its ability to boost the immune system, thereby preventing colds and other issues.
