Cholesterols are a type of fat that your body needs, but some can actually hurt your health if you take too much. Cholesterol is used by cellular structures to become more rigid and resistant, but an excess will make them too rigid. When this happens to the walls of your veins, they can become thicker and more vulnerable.
Get rid of bad cholesterol elliminating trans fat from your diet as much as you can, and eating aliments that help your body get rid of the excess bad cholesterol. Among the most effective foods you have fruits and vegetables of all sorts, especially beans; raw garlic – which is also great for your blood circulation -, turmeric, olive oil and nuts.
There are medications that help you lower your bad cholesterol levels, but if you eat the right food, you aren’t likely to need it at all.
