Along with helping with joint health, water is also important for the health of your bones. We all know how important calcium is for the bones and it has been found that not drinking enough water can actually cause calcium loss within the bones.
When the bones start to lose calcium they can become brittle, which means that they will break much easier. As we age calcium loss in the bones is a natural occurrence.
However, it is possible to prevent or slow down this loss of calcium by making sure to drink enough water each day.
