Another home remedy that can help cure athlete’s foot is another type of soak. This particular soak uses a tablespoon of bleach in a half-gallon of water. When making this solution it is important to make sure that you do not overdo it with the bleach. Measure it out carefully and make sure that you use the appropriate amount of water as well.
Mix the bleach in the water and then soak your feet in the mixture. You should keep your feet in this bleach and water mixture for about ten minutes or so. After the ten minutes are up you will want to remove your feet and dry them off thoroughly with a towel. The bleach in the water helps to kill the bacteria and fungus that causes the symptoms of athlete’s foot. While this is a remedy that will work, it also can be a bit harsh for some people and may not be the best choice for everyone.
