2. A tingling feeling in the skin
In addition to developing a rash, you might also develop a tingling sensation in your skin.
In some cases, this sensation starts to develop before the rash appears. It is usually accompanied by a burning sensation and can be felt in the area where the rash will eventually form. Many people continue experiencing the tingling sensation even after the rash develops.
It is believed that this sensation is the result of the virus attacking the roots of the nerves. In response to the attack, a tingling sensation can occur. If you haven’t started to see signs of the rash, you might think that this tingling feeling is happening for no apparent reason.
