4. Swelling in the Testicles
Swelling of the testicles can be a sign or symptom of a few different things, including serious ones like inflammation or testicular cancer, but it can also sometimes be a natural variation in the size of the testicles due to things like heat or hormonal changes.
Even though most people don’t think about this, the testicles are naturally two different sizes with one of them a slightly smaller size than the other. It’s normal and it doesn’t affect hormones or reproductive capacity in any way – but it can be pretty noticeable.
At the same time, this also makes any swelling noticeable too.
Swelling can be normal if the testicles haven’t been “evacuated” in a while, and a release of tension (or its eventual absorption by the body) can sometimes make the swelling subside. But if swelling lasts for longer than a few days, you should make an appointment with your doctor to get it checked.
