2. A Compromised Immune System
A compromised immune system is another one of the first generalized symptoms of an infection somewhere in the body that might be indicative of any number of a different range of infections. The body’s immune system can respond badly to any kind of infection trying to get in, but it can also sometimes respond badly to its own cells (which creates an immunity-response that resembles allergy symptoms, but to the body’s own cells).
A compromised immune system is going to mean that you get sicker more often and that you are a lot more likely to stay sick for longer. If you encounter the flu with a lowered or compromised immune system, you’ll be more likely to get sick where someone with a stronger immunity might not have gotten the same bout of flu.
If you combine a compromised immune system together with some of the more specific symptoms of gonorrhea like a discharge, get yourself tested.
