3. Small Bladder
It might shock you to find out that people can actually have varying sizes of bladders. This variation is often due to genetic factors and also some random mutations that can occur during the gestation process. It’s worth noting that the size of the bladder isn’t always tied to the overall size of the entire person. This means that a large person could be born with a small bladder and vice versa.
As you can imagine, having a small bladder decreases your storage capacity for the fluids you ingest and may thus make a bedwetting incident more likely since you’ll fill up faster than someone with a larger bladder. Smaller bladders also tend to put more stress on their muscles which can make them fatigued and thus lead to an accident while you sleep. Losing some weight (if you’re overweight) can alleviate some of the symptoms associated with a small bladder.
