2. Changes in Mood
Serious, sudden or drastic changes in mood are one of the symptoms that you should look for when considering that the condition you might have is Graves disease: This becomes truer if you have a potential family history of glandular disorders (or what appears to be weight-related disorders in your family) – in some cases Graves disease might show in your family history.
Sometimes these mood changes are not the kind of thing that someone might notice in themselves, but someone else might point out to them: Pay attention if you generally aren’t feeling well and someone else tells you that you have been acting differently than you normally do. Instead of feeling offended when you hear it, consider the possibility that it might say something about your health.
If you are feeling irritable – more than usual – see your doctor and browse through the rest of the potential symptoms of Graves disease to see if you might be officially diagnosed.
