3. Bloody urine
In some cases, the damage that a urinary infection produces in your bladder might affect some parts of the inner tissue that covers it.
As a result, a few drops of blood may fall from the epithelium and dissolve in your urine. When you pass urine, it will look reddish because of the hemoglobin present in your blood.
In some cases, bloody urine will look brown instead of red, but the cause of this change in color is the same: small bleedings caused by the infection.
