2. Issues with Bowel Movements
One of the other symptoms that may be caused by ovarian cysts is difficulty with bowel movements. When you are moving your bowels you may notice some pressure. You may also find that you frequently need to move your bowels. An ovarian cyst may grow to be quite large, which can cause it to put pressure in the abdominal region. This can make it more difficult to pass stool. You could end up with a stool that is runny and experience diarrhea.
It is also possible that you can experience constipation. It may be difficult to pass stool at times. When you do go to pass stool you might experience some pain as well. If you notice a change in your bowel movements, either frequently having to go or experiencing pain when you do pass a stool, it is important to discuss it with your doctor as it could be a symptom of several medical conditions including ovarian cysts.
