12 Hashimoto’s Symptoms and How to Reverse Them Naturally

Hashimoto’s disease refers to an autoimmune disorder whereby the immune system fights its own thyroid gland, leading to the gland failing to function normally. It is also known as chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis and can cause hypothyroidism, which is a dysfunctional thyroid gland.

Hypothyroidism is caused by the Hashimoto’s disease and mostly affects women than men and children. Research shows that approximately 90% to 95% of hypothyroidism issues are related to Hashimoto’s disease. Some of the root causes of hypothyroidism include autoimmune reaction, allergens, leaky gut syndrome, emotional stress and nutrient deficiencies.

Treatment of Hashimoto’s disease is usually effected through the use of thyroid hormone replacements. There are other various symptoms of the condition, which can be reversed naturally. It can be hard to know if you have Hashimoto’s disease as some of its symptoms are very common.

1. Fatigue

Fatigue or exhaustion is amongst common symptoms experienced by people suffering from Hashimoto’s disease. If the thyroid is functioning normal and producing needed hormones, you often feel energetic than when it’s damaged and you have a hormone imbalance. To successfully reverse the fatigue symptom associated with hypothyroidism, you should consume whole food supplements.

A balanced diet may be good, but consuming whole food multivitamins would be best. You should get tested to find out how much vitamins or minerals you need to add to your diet. Omega 3 supplements are also good in combating fatigue associated with hypothyroidism.
