10 Subtle Signs of Depression

2. Lack of Energy

Another subtle symptom of depression that a person may suffer from is feeling like they never have any energy. No matter how much they sleep a person with depression will often feel like they have less energy than the people that are around them. Feeling constantly drained no matter what is a sign that something is wrong. Your muscles may constantly ache. It may also seem like you get half as much done as other people, and while you are extremely exhausted others can simply keep going.

While there may be other reasons for feeling exhausted all of the time, such as a vitamin deficiency of some type, there is also a chance that you are depressed. Often times, vitamin deficiencies can also cause a person to become depressed as their bodies are not getting the nutrients that it needs to thrive. If you are feeling exhausted all the time, it is a good idea to discuss this feeling with your doctor.
