2. Sleep Deprivation
You can measure sleep deprivation in either quality or quantity. For instance, if you are suffering from sleep apnea and wake up in the middle of the night then the amount of sleep is not good. On the other hand, if you are drinking alcohol, it will prevent you from getting quality sleep.
So if you are dealing with sleep paralysis, it is significantly important to get sufficient sleep. Also, make sure that you do not compromise on the quality of sleep by doing things such as drinking alcohol right before you sleep or consuming food before you go to bed.
If you or your partner notice any abnormal sleeping behavior, such as irregular breathing while you are sleeping, it can be an indication of an undiagnosed sleep disorder.
