10 Natural Tinnitus Treatment Options You Can Try at Home

2. Onions

You probably use onions in a lot of your favorite dishes. Why wouldn’t you? Their incredible flavor can instantly transform any dish, turning even the blandest foods into something completely irresistible. But did you know that onions offer more benefits than just their flavor? It’s true! They possess antibacterial properties that have been found to treat various types of infections, from the common cold to the flu.

If you are suffering from tinnitus and it has been determined that the cause of the ringing in your ears is an infection, onions may just be able to cure your symptoms. In order to use onions to treat an infection in your ears that may be responsible for your tinnitus, simply cook up a batch, collect the juice, and let it cool. Use a syringe to place a few drops of the cooked, cooled onion juice into the affected ear. Allow the juice to sit in your ear for a few minutes and then turn your head to the side to let the onion juice drain.
